This quarter’s update focuses on streamlining everyday tasks. We’ve made a series of small but practical improvements to reduce unnecessary steps, improve navigation, and make it easier to access the right information at the right time. The goal is to create a more connected experience across the tools you use most.
Here’s what’s new:
Duties Now Link Directly to Vehicle Locator
A small but very useful update: you can now jump straight from a duty to the vehicle locator.
If you’re reviewing a duty and want to check where the vehicle is, it’s now just one click away. No more switching tabs or digging for data: the two features now talk to each other, making it easier to stay in flow.

Smarter Navigation and Targeted Content Access
We’ve made a few improvements to how users navigate content in the app. Now it’s even easier to set up shortcuts to the things people look for most.
For example:
Let’s say you want a quick way for your operations team to find all articles about diversions. You can now create a custom tile that links straight to those posts, filtered by tag or search term, and make that tile visible only to that team.
In Unity Admin, you now can:
- Link tiles to in-app areas like Articles, Documents, or Helpful Links
- Filter content by search term or tag
- Point to a specific item if there’s something important you don’t want people to miss
- Choose which users or teams see which tiles
It’s a small change that helps keep information easy to access and more relevant to each team.

More Insightful Driver Insights
We’ve rebuilt the Driver Insights section so you can now see a richer set of driver behaviour metrics directly within Unity.
It’s not just a visual refresh; the data now gives you better insight into things like harsh braking, speeding, and idling, without needing to switch tools. It’s a practical change, and one we hope will save time while supporting safer, more efficient driving.

In Short: More Connected, Less Cluttered
Whether it’s surfacing key driving data, linking related tools, or making navigation smarter behind the scenes, the theme of this release is all about connection: between features, content, and people.
We’re always open to hearing what’s helping, and what could be better, so let us know what you think about this release.
